This is my Process Step by Step

Initial Contact

The client contacts Clear Spaces Organizing, LLC via e-mail / text / phone.

Consultation

A phone call with the client to determine the scope of the project, set a budget, and understand the client’s timeline. This is the time to discuss if extra services are needed (ex: cleaning services, junk removal, dropping off clutter locally). It is also important to know if the house is going to be sold and any deadlines set forth by the realtor.

Walk-through

Ayleen and possibly some helpers will do a walk through of the client’s home to get a better understanding of how many hours this project will take.

Decluttering and Purging

The actual home organization begins with an initial purge and decluttering. Before reorganizing items, it is important to get rid of dirty or damaged items and any excess items no longer used or needed. Collaboration with the client is essential to determine what should be disposed.

Determination of objects

After the purging and decluttering is completed, it is important to know how to process all remaining items. Should leftovers or excess items be kept (and organized), recycled, or donated?

Home organization

The actual home organization begins after the initial purge, decluttering, and determination of leftover and excess items.

Determination of organizational supplies

It is difficult to predict which organizational tools or supplies are needed at the beginning of a project. A smarter, more efficient, and more cost-effective methoid is to wait until after the initial purge and after the excess and leftover items have been determined. Smart organizational materials will be helpful to store any items that the client chooses to keep. Recommendations are made. The client makes the final decision on which organizational supplies are needed and is responsible for purchasing them.

Creating a custom organizational system

Each client has a unique lifestyle and needs. Care and attention is given to ensure that things are put away and reorganized in a way that is accessible and suits the client.

Final walk-through

A final walk-through is conducted to show the client the newly organized space. Does the client like the items in the new spot? Does this new system work?

The client provides approval and confirmation of the new structure for the items. However, if the client is dissatisfied, modifications to the organizational system will be done.
