Consultations are simply informal sessions involving talking with clients or prospective clients. This can be done in person, by phone, or virtually.
The initial client consultation is very important! It gives me the opportunity to learn more about the homeowner’s space and any organizational work that needs to be done.
During the initial consultation, homeowners msy provide a virtual or live tour of the space that needs organizational help. This is the best time to share any concerns that will help me tailor my services to you.

Unique Barriers Presented by Clients
In the beginning when I first advertised my organizing projects through local social media including the NextDoor neighborhood platform, I began to realize the presence of unique barriers presented by my clients.
Some people desperately needed help organizing their home, but they were embarrassed to show their real living spaces. In a few cases, there was some actual hoarding and in other instances, the fear of embarrassment was stronger than the actual problem.
Approaching Each Circumstance with Diplomacy
It was interesting to meet these clients because it inspired me to approach each circumstance with proper attention, care, and diplomacy. It also helped me strengthen my sense of empathy by allowing me to better understand my clients’ connections to clutter.
When a stranger comes into your home and sees your private living spaces, this may affect intimacy and privacy of the homeowner. I recognize this concern and pledge to maintain strict confidence and professionalism in all I do.
My job is never to judge my clients, but to help them. I am here to help you and serve you by reorganizing the spaces in your home and garage.
